,,,Of what we read on the news and internet:

From the Japanese NHK website:

Misleading or false information surrounding Monday's earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture, central Japan, has gone viral on social media. Some posts claim the quake was artificially generated.

Who out there can generate an earthquake without using a nuclear bomb perhaps?

LOL but we all to some degree believe this kind of thing as well as so many other things we read on the net...

I don't read stuff on the internet.
It's still early on this thread. I'm sure lots of replies will follow.
Maybe there were three nukes dropped way back and only two went boom...till now ???

I guess I’m getting old. Had to download the pic and search it via TinEye to figure out that’s Chloe Bennett as Daisy Johnson “aka Quake” from the Marvel universe.

The power to create earthquakes doesn’t seem like a really handy thing. Weird…

Induced Seismicity??

the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers says fracking for oil causes earth quakes as it fractures the ground down to say 3,000 feet and like we all know if you shatter something like concrete it is never as strong..

the US government ( United States Geological Survey) says that the big empty caverns underground created by places like California pumping the water out leaving big empty underground holes substantially increase risks associated with more and bigger earth quakes. Makes sense to me as well as I know holes / unpacked ground under roadways as not a good thing.

Me... I not smart enough to know but cracking / splintering the ground and draining water leaving empty caverns underground that were previously filled with water makes sense to this old boy.

Caves are dangerous. You’d have to be batty to go inside caves.

Must be my age...hardly a ripple in the water there...LOL or maybe.
It is the character from Marvel series "quake" with the ability to create earthquakes. My daughter and I like watching most of the Marvel movies together until they started going woke.

We already have the ability to generate earthquakes 😬😉😬😬

They just need to put a flow back well on a fault line. Then start pumping waste water back into the ground

😁😁😁😁

I remember seeing claims on TV "wash all your groceries to stop you getting covid", "use salad tongs to hand out halloween candy to stop covid", "covid vaccine is the government microchipping people"

Now replace "covid" with "climate change" and go buy an electric car. You don't need keys anymore your microchip with start the motor automatically.
