Hello,

I am looking for a faulty Kubota combination box, part number 66101-55920.
I need the housing, cable and connectors. The electronics inside can be toast, does not matter.

It is used in the G1700, G1800, G1900 and T1600 lawn tractors and I think some others too.

Kind regards,
Hugo

What's your plans? Most of the times a helper relay will help most start issues.

Puts most of the starting amps for the solenoid in a 15 to 30 amp relay. Your choice.

Hi,

I have a relay already but there is no signal coming from the combination box. All safety switch signals are fine and starter signal is coming too.

The plan is to build my own electronics with identical function but diagnostics output added to see a blink code for the reason the starter is not being enabled. Saves fiddling with a meter. So I need the enclosure and the connector.

Kind regards,
Hugo

Have you tried locating just the connector that you need? I recall seeing a few threads where people successfully found the vendor that supplied the connector to Kubota.

I assume that you could just replace both halves with whatever you can find but just want to stay with the original connector?

Hi Russell,

yes, I spent a good few hours searching on the internet but I have not searched here in the forum. Thanks, will try that !

Yes, I could replace both connectors, but I would like to keep the original. Reason being is that I can swap the new and old box and of anything goes wrong I can go back.

Kind regards,
Hugo

I found this thread that may have links that may help.

I also see that my statement implies that it was the exact same connection that you need but that was just improper English usage on my part. Hopefully you can locate the connections you need.

You may want to private message @007kubotaguy and @Mountainman and ask if there are that connection on any of the tractor carcasses they have. They may have also been used on larger tractors like the L and B series

Hi,

I am still looking.

Nobody out there that had a faulty combination box and put it in the shelf as a spare because it was still half working?

Kind regards,
Hugo
