I see that there is a bush hog for sale nearby and wonder what some of you folks think of the Walco equipment and is $800 too much for a used 4 footer?

I was looking today - $800 for a used 5' 'quality' mower, or the same for a brand new 4' 'made in china'.

thanks for the comments gentlemen...there are a lot of people looking at this bush hog so I doubt that it is going to last too long. Cheers.

Tractor Supply has new 4' for $850.
It's been a while but I only paid $750 for a Bush hog SQ600 5' model.

I had a cheap rotary cutter for a while. I bought a Bushhog brand cutter and it was night and day difference between the two. The quality of the cut is much better and if you do need parts they are available about anywhere. You get what you pay for and money is to hard to come buy to waste.
