Victoria BC water taxis powered by Kubota

Just got back from spending some time in Victoria, BC.. Used the little water taxi boats pictured below to get from one side of the harbor to the other..

They are powered by Kubota twin cylinder diesel engines. Sweet, but quiet running little engine...

There are a lot of marine appications that use kubota's.
And yes you're right, they are smooth and quiet.
Sail boats are one use for them.
One other major advantage is they sip fuel.
I am helping a friend build a setup that is using 3 V2203's to power a party/house boat.
It will have enough power and speed to move around at a pretty good clip.
