Vibration in high gear traveling at max speed

Just got word from my dealer that you cannot purchase just the front drive line universal joints and install them into the existing yokes... You have to buy the whole yoke/universal as an assembled unit at (NOW GET THIS!
at $91.00 per driveline end.
That's $180.00 freak'n dollars all for a simple universal replacement!
Any suggestions before I have to lay my "noogies" on the anvil and risk getting them hammered when I tell (oh well.... ask, grovel, or beg) my wife for the cash outlay for the orange mistress in my life???/
I guess I could sell a couple of gallons of "The Recipe" as the old maids on the Walton's used to call their homemade brew.

Do you think if you took it to a napa dealer or similiar automotive they may be able to cross it over. May be worth a try. handy
Hi Butch.So Kubota corp in their infinite wisdom has installed a non greasable non servicable power shaft to improve their product(pocket book),yet they send you a new steering cylinder to replace a flawed original. Very confusing.You have my sympathy. Perhaps if you were to drink that two gallons of sweetness you spoke of, then Kubota's actions would make more sense. Dusty
