Very bizarre engine stop

I was using my B6000 to pull a couple of logs and to start a trail path in my wooded area. Did this for 30 minutes and was finished so I started to drive back to the garage when the the engine lost power and appeared to freeze up and stopped. Like it overheated, but no steam from radiator and it was full. Oil level was full, had diesel and fuel pump was working. After it stalled the starter struggled and turned over once and that was it. I opened the hood and everything looked fine. At this point it had sat for maybe 5 minutes tops and I decided to try and start it again. The starter spun fast and it fired right up. Drove it back to the garage and let it idle for a few minutes and all seems fine. Outside temp was only 60 F so not hot. I did work it fairly hard pulling those logs out of the woods but it was a few minutes after that it appeared to seize up, as if overheating. I haven't owned very long and this only the third time I did any real work with it. FYI, water in radiator is clear, not sure about the flow though. Was this just a weird moment or should I be worried?

2 things come to mind,
Hydraulic lock up, and lack of oil pressure and it's seizing the bearings.

I would get a mechanical oil pressure gauge on it before you do any more work.

Does it have a loader?
Hydraulic lock up would be pretty hard to do on that system without a loader, but it's possible.

Radiator should be 50/50 Coolant / water mix.

It does have a loader and I was using it, so worth investigating. Oil pressure light did not come on and does with key on when not running. Radiator is filled with distilled water only per previous owner and it was on my short list to purge and fill with 50/50.
I did consider adding a oil press and water temp gauges. Oil pressure should be easy, but not sure where to add water temp gauge sensor. Might skip water temp.
Will post again if problem repeats, fingers crossed it doesn't.

Water temp is easy too - upper radiator hose with one of these :

MAKE SURE you get the correct hose OUTSIDE diamention ....... very important!!!!

Outside? Doesn't the hose fit over the fitting? The description specifies "Fits 28MM I.D. Hose". From that I would think the important thing is to measure the Inside Diameter of the existing hose.
