I had the valve stem blow out of the rim yesterday. I was moving brush and scrub and a piece of wood must have pushed against it and ripped it out.
Is it just a standard valve stem or is there a numerical code etc to get a replacement?

There are a few hole sizes and then there are different styles for valve stems. They are pretty standard so just measure the hole diameter and the choose the style you want.

Of course you will have to break the bead on the tire to install the valve stem. Unless you have the tools that will be near impossible, so I suggest you take the whole wheel to a tire repair shop and have them install the new valve and seat the bead and inflate the tire.

Anyone know of an aftermarket valve stem protector? Rear and front stems are bit exposed. The old NH had the rear stems inwards and with guards. Fronts were exposed like the BX. Guards were part of the wheel.

A large dome shaped cover in place of the cap or something that press fits around the brass section of the stem. Something hits the "cover" it would transfer the force to the base of the dome or just deflect. 3D printed plastic?

My thoughts on a protector is a pipe welded to the rim. Ive never seen anything else done on tractors.
