Hello good folks. I bought a v1505 turbo engine for a project but I don't have the ecu to operate the injection pump. It looks like all the ports for the old style levers and centrifical shaft are there. They are machined and capped off. Anyone know
where I can get all the governor guts for this guy?

I'm not sure what this engine is from. I bought it from a guy who bought it with several other engines at an auction.
Im going to try hook up a generic electronic governor to it. Im going to first hook up a DC motor control to the solenoid and run it that way first and see what kind of feedback signal I get from the speed sensor. I think the speed sensor runs off the camshaft but I haven't looked at it closely yet.
A picture of the injector pump and side plate would help determine what would be needed to make the engine run. But also be forewarned that any changes made to the injection pump violate EPA regulations and can carry stiff penalties.
I normally just pop into my local dealer for parts. Yes maybe a few dollars more than sourcing from interweb but I like having a relationship. Has paid off in spades over the years.
