Not going to happen in the area where I live. USPS doesn't deliver to individual mailboxes. Every few miles they have installed "banks" of narrow boxes like this. I can barely get my hand inside the box to grab my letters.

I can walk to my box - about 1/3rd of a mile. Some people have to drive a few miles to get to theirs. There are a few larger boxes with each of the banks for small packages but bigger packages just get you a slip to tell you to pick up your package at the Post Office.
We have the exact same boxes, but I only have to walk past 3 houses to get to mine. Maybe 240 ft.

We get USPS, UPS, Fed-Ex, Fed-Ex, express, and now Amazon drivers too.
All of them come to my door for deliveries.
When Amazon flooded USPS with deliveries, our USPS driver got overwhelmed, she apologized several times because the packages were too big, too heavy, or too many for her SUV.
I told her i completely understood.
Our rural drivers are independent and are not USPS employees, but even the USPS Office staff has been great with us over the years.

I have seen eb and flow with everyone of the delivery services.
Fed-Ex was for a while hit or miss if we would actually get packages.
USPS has had drivers that simply couldn't figure it out.
UPS had the hiccups running things quite a while ago.

I also get quite a few Home Depot, and other truck freight shipments and they have had issues too.

It is a real annoyance or down right costly when deliveries don't show up when they say they should!

I have had good/bad experiences with all the “Big Players” at some point and time.

I will say this though, percentage wise, I think they do ok.

I order the vast majority of what I buy, so our delivery guys are at my doorstep often…..very often…….

Hell, I might try to claim our “Amazon guy” as a “dependent” this year when we file our taxes…..

N.Y,
In 30+ years our local post office has never answered their phone.
The only option is to go there and wait in line.
Then the service is less than stellar.
That stinks. In the last 20 years we have had 3 problems that we called about. The phone has always been answered and a return call with a solution. They actually found my package about 60 miles away and had it pulled from the system then put in a courier bag and transferred to them finding some damage to the bar code. Once they had us call the central office in Buffalo to have an investigation started because they couldn't and they worked with them on the investigation. Very helpful people at ours.

Depends entirely on the individual post office as to the service you get, at least around here. The closest post office to me, about 20 minutes drive, is also the "main" post office for a huge area around here. And it by far has the worst service. Hours are 8:30 am to 12:30 in the morning, then 1:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon, Monday through Friday. So if you have a 9 to 5 job the only way you can get any business done at the post office was to take time off from work. It was a BIG problem for me because I'd get a slip in my mailbox telling me I needed to pick up a package - but my job was 50 miles from town. So I had to make arrangements with a neighbor to pick up packages. Yet there are two tiny villages - one 30 miles to the west and the other 50 miles to the north - with post offices that are open Monday through Friday from 8 to 5, and from 8 till noon on Saturday. Both are run by little old ladies that will do anything in their power to help you do what you need to do as far as postal services.
