Needs some advice, looking to buy a used 2008 ,l3940 with bucket loader,BH90 backhoe 340 hr looks in great shape . guy want 27,000. Am I over paying

It's a little on the high side, but if it's clean and with those low of hours doesn't sound like you'll get stung by buying it.

I don't know if you've made the purchase or not, but last December I bought a 2007 L3940, FEL, 4wd, R4 tires, and about the same hours as the one you are looking at for $17,700 + tax. It didn't have a backhoe attachment.

The tractor is great and you'll really enjoy it if you buy it.

Little late to the party here but I bought a 2007 L3940 HST+ with cab, Woods Loader, Bobcat Utility Grapple, And big heavy duty box blade for $25k. Tractor had 600 hours on it.
