Good afternoon owners, looking for some advice please,
Bought this 90's tractor as paddock machine it has a topper on the back, but would be more useful with FEL too,

now I've found a used one from 'SMC' from a similar model Kubota supposedly and hope with some modification to its sub-frame it will then bolt on and the loader hook onto that as usual

opinions please

Hi, also looking to start same project as you but on a b1500, and going to try to fit a loader that came off a ford 1520, but the loader was in a fire so full restoration on loader befor fitting, and full subframe build as none came with fel, keep the pics coming, cheers zip

So you have the loader arms but no frame to go beneath tractor,
If you want some better pictures let me know, I don't know but suspect most of these frames are essentially the same pattern, some wider-longer than others,
what width is between the chassis rails on yours, mine are about 8-9" wide total length of sub-frame in black here about 3'

Looks like your sub frame is really close to what you need.
If it was off of a geared tractor and your installing it on an HST this will be a little different, if I remember right the main center mount needs to be wider to fit.

Yes I think looking along the chassis rails there's at least one bracket the fuel pump is mounted on will need adjusting around and some minor coolant pipework to loosen and move I believe too,
it had been on a B7000 or something apparently and it looks to have been chopped and about 6" added in and welded up,

in those pictures (where its laid out outside the shed door) is that the correct direction because the post that holds the control valve would be on the opposite side to all the loaders pipework?

Hi, I have asked on the forum if any one has pic of subframe mounting points for b1500 or any other model, I was looking at picking up the engine mount bolt holes / then a set of x3 holes next to the pedals / then all the way back to the rear axle ?, but not sure if that's ok, also how do you tap into the hydraulics

I'm yet to find out myself and I'd hope they'd know here if anywhere, I *know* its right beneath your lap in front of seat there's a tap with a blanking plug, thats the feed for loader, and its return can (iv'e been told) go back in to oil filler nearby but don't quote on that,
also I think you need to isolate lift arms in use but again don't quote me

anyone here care to weigh in, nows a good time before we mess something up :)

On the mountings; it looks like beneath radiator, in front of pedals, and again in front of rear axle,

those last sets are where the belly mower was on mine,
I was under it yesterday removing the last of brackets actually is how I know

Update;

So its going into a workshop next month to begin fitting it,
(the sub-frame was pictured back to front by the way) those long arms should have faced backwards under rear axle except they would have just ended in mid air...
instead fitter will chop off existing uprights, fit them to existing points on tractor frame offer up sub-frame tack it, then remove and seam weld all over, additionally He'll add further struts going forward and bolting somewhere beneath radiator.
at this stage He couldn't see how the bonnet would have room to tip forward for access, so might have to fit clips where it currently pivots on bolts.

For an enthusiasts site I was frankly disappointed in response here, I find it difficult to imagine this sort of thing hasn't been tackled before and advice might have been more readily offered
