What would be the best size two bottom plow for a L3902 in clay , no rocks, Double 12 or 14 inch ? And manufacturer recommendations .

The old timers told me 1" of plow for every hp.
IE 2x12= 24 hp. Those were all 2 wheel drive.
I use 2x16 on my L2250 gear drive it does ok its 24HP
Better now have plowed the clay for 7 years..
How big of area or acres are you doing & are your tractor a HST or gear drive ?

The tractor has HST drive and plowing 5 plus acres .
Do not have AG tires but the tires are weighted .

Now the hard part is a manufacture.
I do a smaller are so have a old Dearborn 2x16
Not for sure where you are but there could be some older plows around that are in good shape
If not do you want coulters on it?
There are several different types of mow boards and the shears themselves.
Go on You Tube there is a lot of different plow video's. That show design ect.
Once you have one the first time you hook up it may take all day the first time. to get the center line correct and angles. Was not a easy as I remember as a kid hook up and go with the pull behind trip plow. If you don't set it up correct it will be harder to pull and results are not very good either.
Again there is a lot of video's on You tube showing how to set up.
Don't get discouraged once it has been done make note of the set up so next time it is easy.
