A good number of garden tractor pullers ad turbo's to their kubota's. Have read where some also swap D950 heads onto the D750 for more output as well too.

What I've not found though is where these Garden Pulling Tractor builders hang out online. Would love to pick their brains. Am leaning toward turbo or supercharger on my Kubota D722 Motorcycle in the future.

Can you provide a long term update on the turbo project?

Based on an on-line calculator for gained HP based on boost:

HP of 19 at Boost of 6 psi is 26.76 HP.

Don't forget to let the turbo cool down before shutting down the engine. I have both pre and post EGT probes on my Cummins.

The key question is did it do anything worthwhile, besides make it louder because on no muffler?

Most say that a turbo on these little motors gives about 2HP gain with a turbo at most and that compared to the cost of the parts is not worth it.

I changed out my 16HP D750 to a 21.5 HP D950 for $675, how much has it cost you to get from 19HP to 21HP?

Does it matter if it did anything meaningful? That's kind of a fun killer question there wolfman. Maybe he did it just because he could. Mad skills right there!
