Product/Copyright/Logo infringement can be a seriously/troublesome problem for companies. In the early 1980s I once set up a flight dept for a banking system and the CEO/majority stockholder wanted the company logo painted onto the tail of the airplanes. I incorporated the logo into the paint-jobs of the fleet. He really liked it.... company logo on company airplanes. It was a 14” by 10” logo.
About a week later he called me to dinner and during the evening meal he brought up the logo in an apologetic tone and suggested I take the airplanes back to the paint-shop and have them add a tiny little “C” within the circle about 1/8” in size.... hardly noticeable at all standing on the ground it looked like a small “dot”.... but within about 5 ft it was the copyright symbol.
The lawyers said we were also subject to our own copyright infringement.
