TSC drawbar welding

Does anyone know if drawbars sold at tractor supply are weldable? Are they cast or steel. I'm planning on making a log skidder utilizing a TSC drawbar that I have..

I wouldn't think that a draw bar is cast... but who knows. Try a spot and see.

TSC drawbars are weldable carbon steel.

Thinking back about when I had one years ago, I seem to remember they were very ductile as in bent easily. Maybe now they aren't so ductile but who knows.
