Trouble shifting L35 Tractor

The column shifter (fwd-n-rev) on my L35 is difficult to shift at times. If I
put the transmission into neutral than I can shift the column without problem
but if I try to shift while it is still in gear sometimes in wont shift. Does
anybody have any thoughts on how to fix this? Thank you.

Gettyup16, I have a 98 L35 with 920 hrs on the clock and it has always shifted ok. Has this problem just showed up or has it been going on for a while? The fact that it works fine when you put the transmission in neutral has me puzzled. Maybe some of the guys that work on these beasts for a living can jump in and shed some light on your problem. Please keep us posted.

I have a similar issue with my L2850. It often takes me a couple of tries to go from forward to reverse and vice versa. Have you had any luck figuring out the issue?

I don't know if this will help? My L245DT would get stuck in reverse. I removed the top of the trans with the shifter on it. The forks have to be in align to shift easily. The top of the forks were worn and stopped the correct alignment. I took it apart and silver soldered the worn areas, then filed it down. Now it shifts with no problems. Hope this helps, Good Luck.
