Late follow up on this. Finally was able to get to the dealer and do it on one of their tractors. The dealer ran into the same problem (when doing it by the manual). Loader lifts up so the pins can be removed but when we curl the bucket, the bucket just lifts off the ground and balances on the stands. It never pops out of the frame/support
To remove my LA535 loader: I have to get to the point where you remove the pins, then raise the boom (extend the cylinders), this causes the loader to move into a better position to pop out. Then curl the bucket and it pops up. Disconnect hoses, etc. An extra step in the process but seems to work.
Maybe a design issue with the new LA535 loaders? I know it's slightly different than the LA534 that comes on the standard L series.
Hi!!
New member here, and new owner of an LX3310 + LA535 FEL.
Posting here because this just happened to me...LOL!
The above info is correct, and was confirmed by the service guys at my dealer. ( I couldn't get my loader off either! )
After removing the pins, but before curling the bucket, you need to
RAISE the boom a little ( pull back on the stick, the boom won't actually raise because you pulled the pins ) or the loader
WILL NOT dis-engage from the tractor when you curl the bucket.
They also recommended that when I go to put the loader back on, that I connect the hydraulics, raise the loader ( pull back on the stick ), curl the bucket forward to drop the lower pins into the receiver, and then push the stick forward to rotate the arms back so as to then insert the pins.
According to my service tech, the issue is that the manual for the LA535 FEL was written for a different tractor, and the step to raise/lower the arms with the LX3310 is missing.
He claims you
WILL NOT get the FEL on / off an LX3310 unless you do this, and I can personally verify that.
I must have spent 4+ hrs messing with this before I finally called them, thinking that there must be something in the manual that I'm just not understanding....
Hope this helps somebody : )
