transmission fluid window

I noticed the fluid level was clear in the transmission fluid window. According to the manual it should be about halfway up the window. I added about a quart of fluid and still nothing is showing. Could it really be that low?
My tractor had 13 hours on it when I bought it. It now has 18 hours.

Could it be that low? Sure could. Lots of reasons. But, I wouldn't panic. Try parking it at various angles with a back tire on a small rise and such, see if you can see the fluid line at least. Maybe front end in a ditch.

Wouldn't be the first tech to forget to fill something up if it happened.

Welcome to the forum from Alabama. A couple of things, 1) While the tractor is running, can you see oil in the window? 2) If it is not pure white like a sheet of paper, it is probably too full and all you are seeing is the fluid in the window.

Yea with that many hours it would be really hard to see, lift the side with the window (drive it up on a block of wood or something) and you'll probably see a bubble or line come in sight.

I have a L3200 also. I thought the same thing as you. If the glass is white as snow, add fluid. If you have a front end loader, try raising it all the way up to help with seeing a line. Your fluid right now is so clear that it will fool you.
