Hello All, I found this forum in hopes of getting help figuring out what has happened to my tractor. A few weeks ago, I used it to cut some brush and all was fine. I parked in my normal spot and shut down as always. A couple of weeks later, I went to do some more cutting and a few moments after I cranked the tractor, hydraulic fluid began pouring out of the bottom of the tractor. Upon further investigation, it appears that oil is pouring out of the clutch housing (where the starter attaches to the block). Has anyone had this problem? As soon as the tractor is shut down, the oil stops flowing. So either I found a small oil well in my tractor or something else is going on.

Anyone experience a similar problem?

It appears to be hydraulic oil. I messed with it a bit yesterday and the lever for the front end loader was stuck between positions. I released the lever and the oil seemed to slow substantially. I let it run with a drain pan below and it never quit completely, but I think it was just letting out the remainder of the excess in the clutch housing.

Before it quit leaking, the tractor started belching blue smoke and sounded like it was running on 2 cylinders. Now it appears I have another problem to fix.
