Hi Mark
The B7800 has one hyd filter and one hst filter if it is hst. It also has a suction screen for both the hyd. and the Hst. 3 to 4 gal. sounds about right. For best performance use Kubota udt. Keep your Kubota ALL Kubota! It'll thank you for it! :D

Hello Everyone Orange,
I bought a 2004 B7800 with FEL,and BH. It has 820 on the meter, previous owner change engine oil,oil filter, plus hydraulic/HST filter. The hydraulic fluid is clear. I am new to Kubota tractors but have always wanted one. My question to you is is ,if I was going to check the suction screen filter,do I have to drain the hydraulic fluid first????
Thanks for your help this site has been great!!!

Yes, You have to drain the hydraulics. It will almost all come out when you remove the suction screen!
