Hi guys,
Newbie to the forum.
I need some guidance on my L3650. On cold start up the Shuttle shift and the tranny don't seem to like each other. With the shuttle in forward the transmission won't go into gear(non sync scratching) or with the transmission in gear the shuttle will not go into forward or reverse.(Same noise) This seems to get better when it warms up.
Could this be too much fluid ? My sight glass does not have lines so I had filled it to the near the top of the bubble. Thanks for any advice you might have.

I'll change your thread as you don't have an HST, you have either have a DT or GST.
HST= Hydrostatic Transmission.

To give you better answers on your tractor, need to know the serial # as that series, can have either a constant mesh transmission or a synchro mesh transmission and it could have a single or dual clutch setup, and like I said it could be a DT or a GST.

Ok now an EC changes this a little.

What fluid are you running in it?

When was the last time you did a fluid / filter change?
