Trailering accident - Any idea what happened here?

This is not my picture.

Just wondering what happened here. Loading gone wrong? You can see a binder or two under the trailer, so it looks like he was in the process of loading the tractor onto the trailer.

Not sure but tractor looks no worse for the wear. Cant say the same about the truck or trailer.

I'm going to go with the following:

1. Failure to correctly/properly secure the load
2. Failure to set the parking brake/transmission on the tractor
3. (As previously note) Improper tongue weight for trailer/truck
4. Its possible that an adult beverage was involved

That is what happens when you forget you bought the short bed for your pick up truck and not the long bed.

My guess is a loading accident - not something that happened in transit.
That's my opinion as well. If this happened in transit, the binders wouldn't be on the ground under the trailer.

I'm thinking either the throttle got stuck while loading onto the trailer and the tractor just kept pushing forward, or he was taking it off of the trailer and the rear of the truck lifted up so he shot forward in a panic to level things out again and he went a little too far forward.

Last time I used the tractor, I pushed down the forward pedal for a short move, took my foot off, the pedal didn't come up, and the tractor kept moving forward until I got on the brake.

There was a small rock wedged between the pedal arm and the housing. Locked it solid.

It's started with one guy telling another guy "he couldn't pop-a-wheelie with a tractor on a trailer."
The response was "here, hold my beer"
This is the result.

I carry a small, cheap jack stand that I throw under the back of the trailer to avoid that very situation.

Forgot it was a bumper pull and not gooseneck.
I agree that it was a loading or unloading issue. If transportation, boom should have been down.
