Any pictures of back hoe mounted receivers for trailer hitch. Wont be used a lot but looking to fabricate one. Not interested in FEL ones so dont need to see those. Weld on ones mostly interested in.

Seems to me that if you don't have it connected LIKE the bucket, or TO the bucket, you'll be sacrificing a lot of control. Maybe something that attaches to the bucket?

Hmmm. Come to think of it, I use a clamp-mounted receiver on my front bucket all the time. Maybe something like that could be adapted to the backhoe bucket.

Maybe a slotted thingamajig welded onto the bottom of the bucket, and the receiver hitch could slide into that? On the bottom shouldn't get much in the way of digging. Use a pin of some kind to secure it. Pull the pin to remove it, and the bucket part just lives there permanently....

Those are both excellent! I'd be tempted to add a safety strap or chain holding the hitch down, running underneath to the front of the bucket. That would keep things in place if you take a bouncy bounce.

What's the thickness on that steel?
Not sure, they were pics I copied off the web.
The third one I built, and because the B670 hoe is considerably lighter/weaker then more modern stuff, it attaches with a chain & loader binder to the tractor's hitch, to spread the load.

If I need HD tow capacity I take my BH off and use the drawbar. Otherwise I use my UTV or forks on the tractor.
I guess i could use one of the 25 pieces of equipment here.
But that wasn’t the topic or question.

Added a receiver hitch on a B26 to KX mini-x adapter.

Just be careful applying force to the backhoe. Designed strong to dig but not for external forces. Have a friend use his B26 backhoe to pull logs out of the woods. Then wonder why his valves leak down.

Looks good. Yes i would only be moving empty trailers into tight spots the trucks get to tight in.

Like using the army trailer to mulch tight places like blueberry patch and garden. Pintle hitch and hand brakes are hillside friendly.
