I have .9 acres now down from 16 when I bought the B2601 rig.
I think this is the key concern. When you stick a house on .9 acres you hardly have room to turn a larger tractor around…

Time for something smaller. Whatever the loss is. Practical considerations rule unfortunately.

I think you are getting ripped off by that dealer. Just try and sell the tractor outright (I know you are, I have seen the posts).

Have you tried Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, local ads, etc?

The only reason a dealer buys something is to sell for more money than what they paid for it. There is no other reason for the dealer. For the seller it is convenience. What’s the new buy price for same machine? If your machine is low hours than it is most likely worth more than your original purchase price.

I'm honestly just fishing. I remember when you were shopping for the B2601 a few years ago.

I've looked at B's a few times since I bought my fully equipped BX in 2013. The front-mount snowblower on the BX is golden for me. I would likely keep it, just like skeets did when he bought a B2601.

I don't have a backhoe, and have decided I might like one on a B2601. A current LX is too big for me, so I've decided a B01 would be the replacement.

Send me a message about where you're at.

Again, I'm fishing, but don't want to let an opportunity get by without investigation.

Unlike my discounted stamp deal, you will have no issue dealing with me, if you deem it okay to investigate further.

Thanks.

I traded it in, thanks for all the input.

^ this may make you feel better, but it is simply not true.
While technically not true, I see what he is saying. When I sold my LX2610 with EA grapple, summit 3rd function, 1860 cutter, 1560 BB and QH15, I only lost about $1500 of what I paid the year prior. That's not a bad "rental" fee.

That would depend on the hours on your LX too.

When I sell the MX in a couple of weeks, it would have cost me around $2,000 to own it for close to a year and a little over 100 hours of use. When I think of what I've done with it and how much fun I've had, there's no doubt that it was money well spent.

Around 50 if memory serves. Added about $8k and bought the MX. I’m happy how it turned out.

Sure it’s true…at least to me it is. Inflation is ridiculous right now. That’s a fact. Replace Emmy value on a low hours asset is absolutely true…maybe sense of value is different. I don’t believe the average one of us on this sight will wear out a tractor, especially not a kubota. Average homeowners use…no way…we may have an oops and break but not wear it out. Their basically Bullet proof when assembled properly and maintenance completed on schedule. Beyond that for me, I’d take a unit that completed it first service for same price or maybe even more than the original purchase asking price when new. That’s a bargain to me. No hassle with any remaining fluid leaks re torque important and fluid filter replacement…at same price as original purchase with low hours and early maintenance paid…maybe even loses tires and a few other personalization of value. that’s a no brainer to me. It you value it differently, that’s fine…as I said a previous post it’s worth what somebody will pay. I would pay for pre covid price on low hours with maintenance and maybe even get some add in like loaded tires or other personalization. To me that is a no brainer if you can get at original purchase price. Purchase price post covid is very different than a 6 months or a year ago.

Amen. Would not have understood so readily before my current tractor. Great machine. No problems. But I had to deal with three setup issues. Minor now, I see. Spiked blood pressure at the time.
