I got into a hurry and accidentally connected the battery backwards on my BX2680. Now nothing happens when I turn the key, no guages, no power to the gloplugs, etc. Can anybody help me as to what components I have damaged? My son told me there is a fusable link in the battery cable that protects the tractor from such a mishap.

Thank you so much for answering. I'm gonna get out there shortly and check it out.
Why were you working on the battery?
Lately there have been several owners with starting issues whose problem turned out to be where the ground cable connects to the chassis. On your machine there is a second ground cable (like a jumper) which would provide more trouble points for poor connections.

I am wanting to make certain your problem is related to a reverse connection.
Here are two parts illustrations to help you track down this fuse which will be red in color.

This is what the fuse will look like but it will be red in color

Had a customer do that(reverse polarity) on his Mercedes 560SEC, $17,000 dollars later I got it running again. Lucky for him, his insurance covered all repairs.
