Yes sir, about the same weight as my 1948 John Deer M.
The John Deer M does not sink in or tear up the yard as much as the Kubota. I am sure the Kubota weighs a lot more with the addition of the FEL.
I am just trying to figure out how much weight I am dealing with, because I am contemplating loading my tires, and I do not want to get ridicules with too much weight.

What type of tires do you have? Ag's will dig more than R4's for sure.

Looks like your rears will hold 29 gallons of ballast each, so 638lbs of rimguard if you load them.

I can't find specs on your loader weight but assume 800-1200 lbs for that.

If you want to lift heavy things safely, loading your tires is a must. As far as ruining the lawn, my new front tires are wreaking havoc on my lawn with my L3710 (operating weight closer to 6000lbs) if I turn...but keeping it straight its not as bad.

Are you using 4wd all the time or 2?

thanks for your replie, I cannot find my loader's weight either. At any rate. it appears that my new Kubota is much heavier with the loader than the old John Deer M. I have AG tires on both tractors, same brand and size tire. The Kubota only have about 14 hrs on it so far, and has never ever been in four-wheel drive. actually never had the need to use it. I have so far, plowed a little lite snow, and scraped my gravel road, but so far never needed to use 4-wheel drive.
The two older tractors have AG tires and have never been a real problem to the lawn driven sensibly, although, the little 318 (baby) tractor was better for the lawn with AG tires because it did not spin and scalp the lawn as it done with turf tires. I suppose the extra weight of the loader is reason for sinking or rutting with the Kubota. I am still interested in loading the rear tires for safety reasons while lifting with the loader.

The 525 is about 1000lbs, the weight is listed in my WSM but cant remember it exactly but its more or less 1/2 ton.
