Tractor turns over, wont start

I saw the lever on top of the engine. Even has a hole in it to run a cable thru to be able to pull in case the solenoid doesn't shut off. Didn't realize what it was.

I think there is some arcane reference to the engine section from the fuel pipe section

see the strange reference to fig no 0202XX below. I’m not sure what that really means but I started looking into the sections of parts in the 2### section and found that part.

since it starts you can run it without the solenoid as long as you know how to manually shut it off.

Received the solenoid today and installed and the tractor cranked right away. Then died. cranked and died several times. I opened the bleed valve and it cranked and ran for a while and then I closed i9t off and were good.

I appreciate everyones comments and help. Tks.

BTW i used an aftermarket part. The Kubota solenoid was $268. I paid about $60 with shipping.
