I have an l3902 bought new 2022. 97 hours on it. When I hit the hst pedal, the tractor dies. It throttle up all the way and idled at the 540 rpm mark for 15 minutes. I bypassed the seat safety switch with a 12 guage wire. I tightened the pedal safety switch nut. I have no idea what else it could be other than a wiring issue which kubota will not cover because it is 2 year amd 6 months old.

How did you bypass the seat switch? Picture? Has it worked before the problems you’re having today?

Try taking the bypass out and put it back to normal. See if your stalling problem goes away.

I didnt need a bypass until today. And it worked when I parked it a few days ago.
That wire looks awful big to make a good connection. Male spade connectors fit better. If you have a multimeter, you can test the switch easily.
Went on a service call to a farm I service some of their equipment. Same issues, frozen switch. Pulled it out and got moving, reinstalled and it worked as should.

Thank you. I will try to get a spade connection and see what happens.

It tries to move. I can drive very, very slow. Like it's in a sort of limp mode.
I can do the same with my MX if I am standing and looking at my forks. Have to creep, like hardly move. My seat switch is not bypassed.
I’d bet your seat was just frozen enough to not press the switch.

be nice to have the WSM or al the very least the wiring diagram, otherwise it's a process of elimination. Hmm nc, so not icy and cold like here.....
sounds like it 'could' be the seat switch OR the wiring around it. look for cuts/slices/ open wires....
maybe post 2 pictures of what you have ? 'fresh pair of eyes' ?!

The safety switch above the pedal or something separate? Got to find a part number i can order.
Before you just throw parts at it use the WSM (aka service manual) to verify that is really the issue.

Have a GOOD look at the wiring to it, whatever is nearby. it 'could' be that a wire has been 'sliced' or 'cut',so either open or shorted to ground. wiring diagram is a must to properly troubleshoot.
