Tractor lives at another location?

Just wondering how many tractors live at locations other than the owner's residence. Thought maybe I was alone in this situation, but I think there must be others.
Mine lives at my mountain home, a little less than 150mi (one way) from the residence.
My wife's uncle lives 360mi (one way) from his Ford 8N at his hunting camp in the UP.

Same, also about 150 miles away at our get-a-way house in the mountains; 28 acres, the tractor would do us no good at our 0.67 ac lot in the city!!!

Although, I did till my city backyard once with my work tractor - 31 years ago... Amazed at how my city house has changed over the years.

How can you live like that? Mine is in a warehouse 25 miles away and I do not like it. BUt it will be back home soon.

It is tough sometimes, especially when a neighbor needs a hole dug, or offers me some fill or gravel.
Just have to grit my teeth when that happens.
Also pita when someone here asks for a measurement, pic, or something, and my little buddy is not accessible.

Mine is 15 minutes away on our separate rural desert property and that's where it's used. It's nice to have a getaway that close to home. I can go there every day!

Mine used to be 30 miles away in the garage beside my rural get-away home. But I finally thought to myself "why have two properties"? So I sold the home in town, now my tractor's home is just 50' out the back door.

Do any of you who have second property at remote locations ever to plan on moving there one day?

My dad is looking at moving into the farmhouse, it is where he grew up. I don't know if we will move there or move out of state, it will depend on what this State does with taxes.

Mine has been 1/4 mile away before in heated warehouse storage weeks at a time..

That is a possibility with ours, but first, got to get the wife on board with downsizing. 2815 sqft here, 1302 at the cabin. Plus, we are still doing the caregiver thing here.

My dad is looking at moving into the farmhouse, it is where he grew up. I don't know if we will move there or move out of state, it will depend on what this State does with taxes.

What State are you in? I dunno, it seems most every State has a way to get us one way or the other.

1,300 sq ft can make for a very comfortable home to live in especially for just a couple. I can say it was not fun downsizing from two homes to the one smaller one though. Much easier to move from one to another because you can just shift most of your stuff, furniture, etc. to the new one.

That *was* the plan until we spent a good portion of a winter up there a few years back. Too cold to work outside and just no social life to speak of.

We ended up fixing up our city house to live another 33 years in... and socialize with our group of friends in the city. Country is nice to get away from the city for a while but the reverse is also true...
