Found a near new tiller with maximum HP rating of 60 at a great price. My M7060 is rated at 62 PTO HP. I believe the difference is so minimal that it should not be an issue but I would be interested in thoughts of those with first hand experience in using mismatched implements before purchasing. Thanks in advance for any wisdom anyone cares to share.

More HP than the implement requires…or is rated-for…is not a problem.… Simply reduce the throttle and/or use a slip-clutch.

I'm usually the other side of the coin, I use implements meant for high HP..... basically, with higher HP, if you bend or break something, it's your fault!!! Doesn't mean that you can't use it... be careful with it and it will be just fine. If you abuse it, it could break!

Buy it, .....and use it!
Stay well away from boulders larger than a VW beetle!

I run a Del Morino Centurion Super 158 flail mower on the MX and might run it on the M this year. The factory manual lists the hp range as 15-40 but I've never given it a second thought. Land Pride lists a lot of implements with hp ranges less than the output of the "Kubota Matched" selection.
