I know what you mean…Whatever happened to that machine and grapple certainly took some talent.

I’ve used my 0660 grapple previously on MX even though it’s really not appropriate (sized for a BX or B), and it was not damaged in any way that I am aware of.

But if they can be salvaged and found at the right price, could be an opportunity for someone with the time and skills.
I considered bidding on it for parts should I ever need them, but the distance to get it home makes the purchase prohibitive. I'll bet that it doesn't sell for more than 3 04 four hundred dollars. It is approximately 300 miles away, so if I calculate 600 miles round trip at a dollar a mile, plus the purchase price and miscellaneous fees I will be close to the cost of a new one. I bought a gently used one from another forum member for $800 (if I remember correctly) and we met up at the Carlisle PA swap meet and traded $$$ for the hunk of iron. I haven't used it much, but the few times that I did, I was quite satisfied with my purchase.
