I considered bidding on it for parts should I ever need them, but the distance to get it home makes the purchase prohibitive. I'll bet that it doesn't sell for more than 3 04 four hundred dollars. It is approximately 300 miles away, so if I calculate 600 miles round trip at a dollar a mile, plus the purchase price and miscellaneous fees I will be close to the cost of a new one. I bought a gently used one from another forum member for $800 (if I remember correctly) and we met up at the Carlisle PA swap meet and traded $$$ for the hunk of iron. I haven't used it much, but the few times that I did, I was quite satisfied with my purchase.I know what you mean…Whatever happened to that machine and grapple certainly took some talent.
I’ve used my 0660 grapple previously on MX even though it’s really not appropriate (sized for a BX or B), and it was not damaged in any way that I am aware of.
But if they can be salvaged and found at the right price, could be an opportunity for someone with the time and skills.
