Tractor Creeps

Good day. An old newbie here.
B2650 tractor creeps forward or backward when the pedal is released. This started last fall and I have been living with it shifting into neutral when stopped. then it is a challenge to get back in gear.

The piston damper was replaced. That helped some. I don't see a connection from the pedal to the transmission. Ant ideas?

If it's like the older B tractors there a little cam that needs adjusted to re find neutral. It's just under the running board on the hst pedal side. Think all you need is a big flat head screw driver and a 12mm socket, extension, jack and jack stand. A helper is nice to work the tractor. Jack one rear wheel up and place a jack stand under it so it's just off the ground. Make sure it's out of 4x4.
Find the cam and loosen the nut just enough so you can turn it with the screw driver.
Start the tractor (helper) turn the cam till the tire just starts to move one direction. Note where that is, then turn the cam the other way till the tire moves in the opposite direction. Note where that is. Go in-between the two marks and that should be neutral position.
If it's not like the older B series, I apologize. I've had to adjust my B a time or two.

Thank you for the detailed procedure. I have seen a metal "Y" laying on it's side with a roller bearing in the "Y". There is quite a lot of space between the two.
I will have another look tomorrow. I am getting good at removing the deck plate.

Check and make sure that the spring is still in place in the picture I linked to on Messick’s parts pages. It’s part of what Kubota calls the Neutral Holder.
