New user here and I apologize if this information is already available but I just can't seem to find it.

I just purchased a l2900 from my neighbor about 1/2 mile away. The tractor needs some fuel work so it's not running right now. I have the bucket and the 3 point attachment chained up off the ground ready to load on a trailer but I was wondering if it could just be towed to my house? My specific question is if it is steerable without the engine running?

Thanks all

Put in neutral and tow slowly, will be hard to steer and limited brakes.

Yes. That's what I was asking for. You will be fine with a gear trany, just be careful it doesn't get away from you

A trailer would be quicker, safer, smarter, and cheaper than the towing vehicle damage, hospital bill or funeral cost..........

The steering on that machine is purely hydraulic, so if the pump isn't running, I'm not sure how responsive it's going to be. I suggest you keep the tow under 10MPH for your safety.
