Touch-up Paint, ZD1211 year 2022

Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase a small bottle of high quality touch-up orange paint? We just purchased a ZD1211 year 2022, and it was delivered with a few very small paint chips on the deck from shipping. The can spray is $18 or so and I do not want to pay this amount.

I got one from the dealer because mine had a couple chips.. free of charge.

Interesting . . . I wonder why my dealer did not offer this. I found it online for $11 plus shipping. Do you know if your dealer sells it for cheaper?

Haven't tried it yet, it may also be dried up.

bear I'm not sure what they sell for, tell your dealer you want them to-pick up your tractor for touch up.. they'll gladly give you some.

find an auto body supply company that mixes paint, and see if they can mix you a pint. You might have to take something off the tractor for them to scan the color. I use Chevrolet Orange engine paint on my BX

Btw, in addition to the $11.10, Messick's also charges approx. $11.00 for shipping plus sales tax-- ouch!

I buy specialty interior paints frequently, and it is usually a custom blended color by the pint. I then have them put it into spray cans for me, so I never pay attention to the pint alone cost. Most times there is a little leftover in the pint can and I take that for small touch-ups. The spray cans are what I am usually needing in a particular color that isn't available off the shelf.

Mower deck paint chips? Just use the machine and let the paint wear off naturally and the chips will blend in and become unnoticeable. It's your tractor not your harley davidson.
