Total engine bay respray, a bit overkill or what!

Saw this breifly on fleabay recently , thought to myself , have a better look, and man what was the guy who did the paint job thinking....
I 've heard of a total respray , but this takes the award for an engine repaint.
Not just content to do the engne, but everything attached to it, with the exception of the body work, what was he thinking.
I mean , i know its only a tractor but it would'nt have taken long to just mask up some of the obvious parts.
Maybe i am just to picky but some one is going to have to disasemble something on it in the future, all that baked on paint is going to be a nightmare on small screws head and threads etc.

Pressure washed and painted,,, that would hide a lot of misery till the next guy got it home

I agree. It was most likely much cheaper to do a rattle can repair than to use Kubota Blue. Can only wonder what else they are trying to hide to unload it...

I'll give them credit for keeping the color scheme in the roughly the same family. I saw a Kubota B6000 on Ebay painted John Deere green and yellow. I think I posted a picture of it a while back.
