Has anyone used / installed a tooth bar on their B3200 bucket? Do they work, are the worth the money or should I look at a different way of putting teeth on my Kubota?

Yes, and Yes - once on ....you'll never take it off!

'spose I said you could increase your HP of digging by 25-40% for a couple of hundred bucks....... would you do it?:D:)

I've had mine for about a month now, glad I got it.
I did have to remove it once to use my bucket mounted forks, very easy.
I had my loader off using the mmm and needed to use the forks so I pulled into the shed, mounted the loader, backed out of the shed, removed the tooth bar and put on the forks, 8 minutes total.
easy!

I haven't installed a Pirranah yet but I have a Ratchet rake and it's probably the best thing I have bought for the money.
Durable and yo can take off/put on alone in 3 minutes....

Appreciate the responses. I hadn't looked at the Piranah yet but will. I was putting in drains off the downspouts this past weekend and this Ohio clay was testing my patience. Even with 1.5 inches of rain a couple days earlier, I either started to spin in it, or the clay was so hard I could barely get a bite out of it. Need something to break it up.

John,

the toothbar when stood up vertically will bite well into hard soil. Roll the bucket and something should pop!:p:)

I love mine!!! Got it on in 1/2 hour, and will likely not ever take it off. BUT - I can!

I love mine and before joining this forum had never heard of them. The only downside I have found is forgetting to put bucket on ground when shutting down tractor and walking by to close and hitting your shin on it!

All jokes aside, best money I have spent for my tractor other than a larger tool box.

Anyone have a ratchet rake and Piranah tooth bar?
I wonder which would be the better investment assuming you only want one.
I can see the ratchet rake getting in the way for loader work but very nice for gravel driveway maintenance. I guess you could take it off when not needed. And I see the Piranha being a bit handier for general work but lacking the "raking"ability may be a vote against it. If you could do it again would you buy the same one?

For clearing out brush and brambles, it is hard to beat the ratchet rake. Sure can't dig with it though.
