I have mounted the tool box on the rack permanently with nuts and bolts. I centered it, so I will have some space on each side of the rack for other things, my plan is to use either bungee cords or cut down the size of some ratchet straps to hold things on the rack. I have mounted the tool box but ordered the u bolts from Amazon (cheaper than Lowe’s) plus delivery is free, with the membership, as I live in the country and its 25 miles to town. I have a doctor appointment on Thursday but Amazon is delivering them on Thursday. So ordered them yesterday. I should have it attached to the tractor on Thursday afternoon and will post completed pictures then.
I was doing some work around the house and decided to just take the few pictures of the tool rack. Ok, the first two pictures are showing the tool box attached to the rack, front and back. The last picture is how I plan to attach the rack to the ROPS. The square u-bolt is one I had bu it is not long enough but just for demo, I used it. There will be two on each side, one right up under the rack and one pro in the same location as the one there for demo. I had the tool box and everything else that I needed to build the rack. I will be mounting it rack higher up the ROPS, possibly about j a few feet below my line of sight, so that I don’t obstruct my view behind the tractor. Was a sweet deal to not have to spend for money! Just a few more things that I want to add to the tractor. Thinking about adding an axe, probably that will hang just under the rack I ordered a chain saw blade cover, going to make a chain saw rack, which I plan to mount on the ROPS driver side. Use the tractor a good bit in the woods to clear and clean shooting lanes for hunting and food plot clearing, cleaning and planting.
I also am thinking about a radio. Oh well, Thanks for enjoying my new pojects. Any suggestions or advice are welcomed.
