I am having the same problem in my T1600H, which I believe is a z482 engine, except it happens pretty quickly, not after an hour or so like the OP.
I have not had it long, before I purchased it the engine had been rebuilt.
It starts easily, runs well, no smoke, plenty of power, doesn***8217;t overheat, but after a few minutes (5-10) at working speed the valve cover fills with oil and it spews a little less than a litre (I***8217;m guessing) out the breather.
I***8217;ve tried a few things, but wondering if the OP found a solution?
