My operators manual for my mmm (RC60-24B) calls out a LH thread on the blade closest to the discharge chute but it is RH like the other two. I used a breaker bar to loosen and when I couldn’t budge that one I tried the old loosen/ tighten trick to break it free and it spun free when it should have tightened down. Got me wondering if I had an old design or a replacement spindle that the dealer just grabbed and used what he had.

Raining today so I pulled the deck and put them on correctly. Cleaned out more grass from last week

Ive put them on backwards, Not lowered deck and cut an embarrassingly long patch forgetting to engage the deck (good headphones was in a zone)..

Anyone who has ever changed a blade or changed a chain on a chain saw has done that,, some more than once!!!

Me. Wondered why the cut was uneven. Duh. Beating the grass in to submission didn’t work View attachment 61576

Easy fix. Drill a few holes at the end of that blade and tie some weedeater string to it. Done.

Wow this sounds like a bunch of rotary cutter issues...glad I don't have one to beat up!

No issues with the hardware, just operator error
