I don't usually do this sort of thing but I want to share a terrible experience that I have had with this manufacturer. I purchased this round bale grabber back in August https://palletforks.com/products/ro...ygHFnAIxz7kdf4BIWppfK0wanrrBxkYQaAmuWEALw_wcB
I tried to use it for the first time to unload a wagon of round bales in October and the cylinder was bad. We had to chain each bale to get it off etc, etc. I filed a warranty claim on 10/14/24 asking for a new cylinder. I have sent a total 8 emails over a 8 week period and I am still waiting on a replacement cylinder. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company and we'll see what happens.

What was wrong with the cylinder?

query ? Have you tried CALLING them ? Maybe their 'email server' is busted ???
You've got MORE patience than me, after week one ,I'd be on the phone, webpage, emails...DAILY until some action was made by them.
Agree, CC dispute , especially after 2 MONTHS of 'crickets'.

Thats not "crickets". While they are trying to get you a new cylinder maybe you should have a look at the problem. Seems unlikely "not working" is the cylinder.

Dan - while reading the first post, I was hoping you would chime in here.

My first thought was there COULD something wonky with the tractor's hydraulic connection/system to the cylinder......

@doesleap - what does (or doesn't) happen when you try to close the grapple?

How is it connected to the tractor?

Don't ask me how I know, but a damaged hydraulic coupler can make it seem like a cylinder had failed. I had it happen on my grapple. It was self inflicted and repaired for approximately $9.00 ;)

There are plenty of bad Titan stories abound, and yes some good ones. Fact is, they resell stuff out of shipping containers from the big "C" and are not tractor people, so the service is lacking when you need it.

I hope this gets resolved for you soon.

Unless the cylinder is spitting hydraulic fluid out of it, or you can manually move the cylinder, it's Highly unlikely a bad cylinder.

If you didn't disconnect the cylinder to chain the bales down, it's very likely that there is no fluid getting to the cylinder.
Do you have other third function operated equipment?

I agree.
I looked into Titan when I was looking for a few implements and after reading reviews and looking into the company, I took a hard pass.

went with made in USA and 1 made in Canada.

In the last 3 years I have actually purchased two items from Titan.

One was an SSQA adapter plate and the other was SSQA pallet forks. Both times delivery was very quick and the quality was quite acceptable. Maybe I am just lucky but I would not hesitate to buy again.

I agree. A cylinder being "bad" by outright not functioning is very unlikely.

To the OP, have you loosened the fittings at the cylinder itself to verify that it's actually getting fluid at both ports?

I think Titan makes 2 versions of forks... economy and pro.

I ended up buying a SSQA plate on the amazonian and made my own...
but in hindsite... the titans are probably lighter in weight.

I understand the frustration of buying something that don't work...

but unfortunately that's the world we live it... "things taint what they used ta be"

sometimes you gotta roll up your sleeves and figure it out.
probably save time in the long run

Pehaps you should take two minutes to actually check before you think in public. Titan has three offerings, economy, standard, and pro.

I purchased the standard duty and they are more capable than the LA525 loader they are used on. The Pro model would be a waste of money and added weight the loader can't spare.

The SSQA adapter is 3/8 laser cut plate with a press brake formed perimeter all around. More than adequate for the base of my shop made snow plow mount. Also heavier and stronger than the SSQA back on the OEM loader bucket.

I'm wondering if the OP has another attachment that uses his '3rd function' ? If so does THAT work ?
If is does, then the baler's got a problem
if it doesn't, then 3rd function has a problem.
