NAPA number 41231, cut off factory pipe 3/4” past last bend, cut off with a cutoff wheel, clamp on new pipe, no more soot.

I did this on my LX2610HSDC

I used a generator pipe extension from amazon on mine. I just pushed it on and it hasn't moved.

Out of stock on amazon, but if you go to the manufactures page, it shows where they may be available...Ace hardware etc.

Here is the link for the manufacturer in NC. Perhaps you can order from them?

The soot is a badge of honour. The alternative is either DPF or DEF.
With the bucket on the ground or my snow pusher, the soot and heat that comes with it would be baking two of my hydraulic hoses on the loader arm. I can do without the honour.

Occasionally I've thought of cutting the tip and rotating it to blow downwards. It's a farm tractor so a little extra dirt from soot isn't a priority for me.

I’m dragging this thread out of the moth balls. Do you just slide it over your exhaust and your good to go or do you need to clamp it or glue it on some how if your using the Camco

There is a welded ridge on the factory pipe of the BX2370 - so when the pipe slides on a tight fit is created - however, with the expansion of heat/cold and vibration, I found that I had to slit it a bit on the backside and place a hose clamp around it to secure. It fell of once, but has not in the last couple of years.
