Tiller recommendation for B7300

Hoping someone will have had experience w a tiller and a B7300

I would think a 4ft rototiller would be ok on the back of that tractor if it’s light or medium soil. I think it’s only about 16 PTO HP on that machine.

Hi Stoney, I checked tractordata.com and it looks like the b7300 is very similar to the b7100hst, 0.7L engine, 16hp with 12.5hp at the PTO. From the specs a 36-40” wide tiller would be great. However those are harder to find than a 48” and they don’t cover the width of the tractor.
I have the TSC County Line branded Behlen made 48” tiller and it works great in hard clay. I don’t have many rocks, just hard Adobe quality clay soil. It comes with a slip clutch as well.

I usually pull my subsoiler across an area before tilling to tear out the tree roots and loosen the soil. This makes the tilling easier.

I have a B7300 and use a King Kutter XB 4foot tiller all the time. Had to go through some rocky areas the first few years and it has always done a great job.

I have a 48" tiller for my B7100 and it seems to work well.

I use a 40" Bush Hog brand tiller on my B7300. It stays hooked on the tractor
