Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have a BX2200 and I am looking for a roto tiller for it. Kubota have a couple of 42" tillers but they are over $2000 each. I think they are made by Woods but I can't find any information about them on the internet? There is also a tiller by King Kutter that is 48" and is supposedly designed for sub compact tractors. This sells for around $1400. Any thoughts on these tillers? Is the Kubota tiller worth an extra $600? The Kubota is reverse direction 20 tine and the King Kutter SB is forward rotation 36 tine. Is backward rotation better than forward? Are more tines better? Thanks.

The King Kutter is a great tiller especially if its the gear drive version. I got a 60" one for about that price on sale last year.

I have a B7500 and the King Kutter 48" and I picked it up at Tractor Supply for $1200 isn. The TSC here offers 10% military discount. Now at TSC the King Kutter is labeled as a CountryLine but it is in fact a KK. Verified with KK and they yes sir, we make 'em. Now also if you live in a state that allows ag exemption then you don't have to pay sales taxes. I took advantage of that one too.

BTW this tiller is a beast and will turn dirt into powder.

Thanks for the info. I went with a reverse direction woods with the 6 tine option. Now I have to wait two to three weeks for it to arrive. Thanks again
