thumb/grapple w/no Hydro?

ive been looking & havent seen one..

is it a real thing?

can you put a thumb/grapple on your bucket that sits still like on an excavator & use the bucket action to open & close on it?

im sure you "can"... but does anyone have this set up?

i dont have any open hydro & not sure how to go about this.

ideas? input? show me yours !!

Its to late for me now, just got my 3rd function installed and my thumb going. But if you don't mind which one did you get and what was the price. The little searching I did for prices they were all over the place. From $900-$2000.

Thats a pretty cool design but I would get frustrated operating it now that I'm used to my hydraulic grapple.

super helpful, very customer service oriented & the owner even followed up with email to check that his staff was courteous & quick with info/responses.

Westendorf has been making quality loaders for a long time, like 75 years. They developed their own style of quick attach 35 years ago. I've had a Westendorf on my 730 Case for so long I don't remember what model it is 'cause I painted it black!
