I have a weird problem. I can't get the throttle to go above idle in my BX1880. I start it and pull throttle down and it springs back to idle. Like there is no resistance in the cable to keep it where I want it. It was fine yesterday when I used it. I took the loader off to mow, but don't see how that could have affected the throttle.

Any ideas?

Figured it out. The nut that secures the throttle arm came off. Put it back and made sure the jamb nut was tight and all is right with the world.

That’s pretty common. I might suggest getting a nylon lock nut or you’ll surely play this game again.

I had the same issue when I got my 1860 last year, and the nylon lock nut solved the problem.
