I've got a BX and the rubber doodad on the end of the throttle lever keeps falling off... I keep twisting, pounding, and pushing it on but it doesn't go on very far and eventually falls off... Has anyone replaced it with some other doodad? Like a die or something cool like that? Not a big deal but it keeps bothering me.. Other than this goofy thing it's a great tractor.

It slides over the steel shaft? It is a slip fit - no threads?

Either way - go to wally world, get some 2 part epoxy, mix 50-50....

place a dab or 3 on the shaft, slide "doodad" on, place where you want it.....

30 minutes later (depending on what you used) you are good to go!

I used some Automotive Goop (real name, by the Shoe Goo people) from NAPA. It has good adhesion and is somewhat flexible when cured. That was a year ago and it's holding just fine. All but certain I could break the bond by twisting if I ever had to remove it.

Yeah, no reason to remove unless a guy somehow ruined the grip itself and needed to replace it. If that was the case, destroying the old grip would be irrelevant.
