Went from a B2601 to a L3302 and don't regret it. The extra weight and stability is a huge factor. I would not go with the L2502 personally. Some of what I use it for is mowing our prairie restoration project and brush hogging. The B was a little down on power for the task. Even the 3302 bogs once in a while but the 3902 did not seem like it was worth the big price jump for 4 hp.
