Well, everything missed us, thankfully. They're saying next wave due Monday night into Tuesday morning with a chance of rain everyday next week.

I expect to see a lot of farm equipment moving today as they try to take advantage of the one dry day in the 7-day forecast. I've seen some fields be tilled, but yet to see a planter anywhere. Last year most everything was planted around here before the start of May.

My eyes are on Central Oklahoma and West Arkansas this week. I would hate for my "whatever" to get blown off !! 😲

Well we are under flood warnings from all the rain.

Starting on Monday, they are talking about a heat wave and that we are looking at breaking heat records possibly Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with temps in the 90s.

Currently we are 51 degrees and highs this weekend are supposed to hit low 70s.

The weather got fierce in Oklahoma Monday night and Wednesday so we ended up sitting in a 'safe room' for a couple of hours. A tornado touched down Wednesday afternoon after we left. Scary stuff. 😲

We had a pretty good thunderstorm come through other afternoon. Real gully washer. First big one of the season.

All okay and no damage.

My weather station recorded it all, in real time. It’s a real trooper.

Somewhat rare to get hail in central Wisconsin, especially when I compare it to the 19 years that I lived in Missouri. The largest was about the diameter of quarter but most was nickel sized so not too bad. It was intense for a few minutes.

A quick follow up on the April 12th hail storm in my area. Many roofs are being replaced, along with 3 of mine. House, storage shed, garage. I was shocked at the cost in today's market, and glad for home owners insurance.

We just came out from under our last tornado warning. Still under thunderstorm warning. Part of I-55 in MO closed due to flooding.

Lots of power outages.

Just released another tornado warning for east of us, moving away from us.

We have a massive weather system that is moving across Louisiana and will move through our area today. You guys North and East of us will get it later this week. "Batten down the hatches".

Now it looks like about half the nation is under excessive heat watch/warning.

Be careful out there, this heat can turn deadly quickly. If you have elderly neighbors, family members, etc., make sure you are taking the time to check on them.

I already have a portable window unit on standby at dad's house so if there is an issue, I can keep a room our two cool for him.

We hit 99° yesterday. Supposed to be the same or higher today.

Just got over some heavy rains as well so the term muggy is an understatement. It feels like you can cut the air with a knife

I hope our forecast is wrong. High wind, hail, 3 or 4 inches of rain possible. I’m still trying to get veggie garden planted, hate to see the row covers over the eggplants blown off. Put in some corn seed this morning and put grass clippings on the rows so maybe wont wash out.

I was watching videos from the Yellowstone National Park and they got a bunch of rain. Lots of roads washed away, bridges gone, and multiple rock and landslides.

They said the park is closed and they are still working on getting everyone out of the park.

Strong storms this morning. Lots of wind.

Around 50,000 without power.

Had to drive a round a down tree on the road in the way into work.

Our niece finally got her power restored yesterday evening. She had been out of power since Friday morning when the storms came through. Thankfully they had a generator and was able to keep the freezer and ice box running, plus a small window unit to keep a room cool so they had place to cool off in.
