and I like it. I first made one that hangs on my pallet forks frame, but since the bucket is on my tractor all winter it was a nuisance to have to swap on the forks just to move my trailer in and out of its storage spot. This little guy slides on the lip of the bucket, I run in the two bolts by hand to hook behind the cutting lip, and it's in business.

My trailer is small and not very heavy (5x10' flat utility trailer), so this works great.

nice ! I cheat though, snag the safety chains(no I don't cross them ) onto hooks on the top of the bucket....makes it easy and fast to move trailers some distance. for 'precise' moves I just use forklift and slide on ball.

I would buy one of those. I do have some amateur welding skills but that is great for a quick solution. Nice job.

The two trailers here are a homemade utility trailer and a tow-behind generator (ex-light tower). Neither one is really heavy. They can be moved using the front or rear of the Kubota. The rear ball is attached to the RFM and I can move the trailers when mowing without getting out of the tractor. The front has two receivers - one on the FEL and another on the frame. To use the front requires putting a hitch insert in one of the tubes. Recently I picked up a ball for the drawbar.

The pic with the receiver on the bucket was taken when it was being used to hold a 2x2 square tube for drilling.

Very elegant solution.

I have trailers that have different size balls, so I wanted to be able to quickly swap them out. I went with the typical "weld a receiver tube on" method.
