Nice forks Dan.

My forks are "probably" my most used attachment.

How long are they?

I went with 48's ....Having never had them before, I applied the "Ketchup Reasoning Theory" to my decision.

I think 42's are is nice, because they don't poke out to hit things beyond the width of a pallet.
First pallet I moved was a freight shipment of vinyl porch railing. Ten 8ft sections in cardboard cartons along with some stair rail and posts. It was strapped to a 4" x 10' pallet and total weight was 600#. To get it off the truck you had to pick it up from the 4' end and it stuck out 10' in front :devilish:

Probably no big deal with a real fork lift and 60" forks but with 42" forks the pallet was fly rod whippy and even with a 700# mower on the 3pt the Kubota was more than a little little light in the arse...

For that, you probably should have had slide on fork extenders, and perhaps a backhoe hanging off the rear.
